Unlike the other health fads I’m going to cover over the coming weeks, mental health is one to take seriously. One of the reasons it is apart of my testing for lifestyle is the recent trend of mindfulness and an real expansion in apps such as Headspace, Smiling Mind, Moodnotes, Breathing Zone and Talk Space.

As someone who has sought both professional help and used some of these apps, I really wanted to test out do they work? And do they replace the real thing (a psychologists) when a person is unable to access a health professional?

I argue no, and here’s why…
